Tom Bocock, Baseball Coach
Coach Coach Bocock has been actively coaching and doing private instruction around the Shenandoah Valley for 2 decades. This includes a trip that left Bridgewater Little League one win away from advancing to the Little League World Series, and two VHSL Baseball State Championships with the Turner Ashby Knights.
Prior to coaching, Tom played collegiately at James Madison University from 1979 - 1982. During his four seasons as a Diamond Duke, he was an All-ECAC selection in 1981 and 1982, and was named Player of the Year for the 1982
season. Coach Bocock was also named JMU Defensive Player of the Year for both of these years. Tom finished his career 9th all-time in runs scored with 181 and is 9th on the single-season runs scored list with 63 runs scored in 1981. Following playing at JMU, Tom was drafted in the 27th round by the St. Louis Cardinals where he hit .245 in 2 professional seasons.
